MT. LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A partially overturned tractor-trailer slowed traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County.
It happened at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday in Mt. Laurel in the southbound lanes near exit 5.
The driver lost control, causing the cab of the big rig to separate from the trailer, leave the highway and overturn.
Images from Chopper 6 HD shown on Action News at 8:25 a.m. showed the cab lying on its side in a wooded area adjacent to the turnpike.
The trailer portion was located nearby, still upright.
There was no immediate word on injuries.
New Jersey State Police and several firefighting units were on the scene.
The right lane was blocked as police investigated and crews worked to remove the overturned cab from the brush.
