Chase Utley set to be inducted into Phillies Wall of Fame this summer

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A fan favorite is set to become the newest member of the Phillies Wall of Fame this summer.

Legendary second baseman Chase Utley will be inducted on August 7, the team announced Thursday in Clearwater, Florida.

Utley joined managing partner John Middleton for the official announcement.

Utley spent 13 years with the Phillies organization and was one of the most crucial members of the 2008 World Series championship team.

He will become the 51st inductee into the Wall of Fame.
