Clifton Heights car wash fire under investigation

CLIFTON HEIGHTS, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials are investigating a fire at a car wash in Delaware County.

Firefighters were called shortly before 10:00 a.m. Sunday to the car wash located at 501 East Baltimore Avenue.

It took crews about a half hour to gain the upper hand.

The fire was placed under control just before 10:30 a.m.

The business was open at the time the fire broke out, however, all employees were able to escape without injury.

There were no customers inside at the time.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
