CLAYTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A South Jersey community gathered Friday to honor a volunteer firefighter who died from injuries he suffered in an accident while responding to a call.
Robert Reider III, 23, served with the Malaga Fire Company in Gloucester County.
The department said Reider died July 10 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, about two weeks after the accident.
Family members, friends, fellow firefighters and community members gathered at Clayton Baptist Church for a morning viewing.
A funeral service followed as mourners remembered Reider's dedication to serving his community.
