'Cool' science experiments to try in the snow, frigid temperatures

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Everyone knows it's cold it is outside.

The entire Philadelphia region has remained below freezing for the seventh day in a row, with little relief in sight.

But we are tapping into a little science just to show you how cold is really is.

How long will it take to freeze a wet shirt? Will eggs freeze in a frying pan?

Can you make spaghetti stand up straight or use a frozen banana to hammer nails into wood?

And what ingredients do you need to make a "snow volcano?"

Action News reporter Corey Davis shows you all the "cool" experiments you can do in these below freezing temperatures.
