
BENSALEM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- At least one person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon in Bensalem Township.
The crash happened around 4:48 p.m. at the intersection of Bristol Road and Chestnut Avenue.
Authorities said the driver of a Toyota RAV4 was found dead at the scene and has not yet been identified.
According to investigators, the crash followed a domestic-related incident in Lower Southampton Township. Police said the driver fled that scene at a high rate of speed along Bristol Road.

Officials say the driver crossed into oncoming traffic while attempting to pass another vehicle and collided with a Hyundai Kona.
Police said the Toyota RAV4 then became airborne before striking a Honda SUV and a Ford pickup truck.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone else involved in the crash was injured.
