Crash involving Philadelphia Police dirt bike patrol officer under investigation

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a crash involving one of their dirtbike patrol officers in North Philadelphia.
The collision happened around 4 p.m. near Broad Street and Toronto Street and involved a UHaul truck.

Police have shut down southbound Broad Street while they process the scene.
There's no word yet on the officer's condition or whether anyone else was hurt.

Investigators are still working to determine what led to the crash.
