SOUTH PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- A blend of cultures came together in South Philadelphia this afternoon.
Musical groups that align with the traditions of Mummery got to celebrate their passions as one.
All of this was part of the Mummers Museum's "Festival of Many Colors."
"The Mummers Museum is collaborating with two separate organizations, but we all inspire each other. Carnaval de Puebla and Philly Caribbean Carnival from the Caribbean and the Mexican communities. They do their big things other times a year, but this is the first time that people from all of those three traditions have been able to celebrate side by side," said Michael Carwile, Board Member at the Mummers Museum.
