2 dead after being ejected from vehicle in East Falls crash

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people were killed after being ejected from a vehicle that crashed in East Falls early Sunday morning.

The crash happened on Route 1, near the exit for Fox Street around 1 a.m.

A Honda SUV rolled several times, landing on Abbotsford Avenue.

Police say a 19-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were ejected from the vehicle. They both died at the scene.

The 35-year-old driver had minor injuries.

Police are looking into whether alcohol was involved .
