PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Democratic National Committee arrives in Philadelphia on Wednesday to assess if the city is the right choice to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention.
The committee will be in town until Friday, assessing Philadelphia's hotel space and fundraising plan, as well as the Xfinity Mobile Arena, which would be the potential site for the convention.
Philadelphia hosted the Democratic Convention in 2016, and the Republicans in 2000.
The DNC is also considering Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and Denver as sites for the 2028 convention.
