PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- As the world awaits the highly anticipated sequel to 'The Devil Wears Prada,' two of the film's main stars are showing some big love to Philadelphia.
And for good reason, they have roots here.
When our Alicia Vitarelli walked into the room to talk to Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, she was greeted with a loud, enthusiastic E-A-G-L-E-S chant.
"My parents are from Philly, so my roots run very deep there," says Hathaway.
When told Philly claims her, she responded: "I feel claimed!"
Let's run back Anne Hathaway's Philly roots.
Her maternal grandfather, Joe McCauley, nicknamed the city's "Morning Mayor," was one of Philadelphia's most celebrated radio personalities at WIP.

Her mother, Kate McCauley, who is also an actress, was born in Philadelphia and went to Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown.
She got a musical theater scholarship to La Salle University. That's where she met Jerry Hathaway, and the rest is history.
They raised their kids in New York and North Jersey, but Anne was seen cheering on the Eagles in the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans. She went with her parents. The Birds won the game.
Just this year, we found out that Meryl Streep also has Pennsylvania roots.
Ancestry.com found something groundbreaking! It turns out that Streep and Anna Wintour are sixth cousins.
Wintour, of course, is the former editor-in-chief of Vogue, who inspired Streep's character Miranda Priestly.
Their family roots trace back to Bucks County in the late 1700s.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters on April 29.
