Elenor Emlen Elementary School creates time capsule to celebrate 100th anniversary

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Elenor Emlen Elementary School in East Mount Airy hosted a week-long celebration to mark a milestone anniversary.

The school community came together on Thursday to create a time capsule.

The students presented newspapers, movies, drawings, and other notable items to be put away as memories to look back on in the future.

A barbecue bash is planned for Friday to end the week of honoring a century of academic excellence and community at the elementary school.
