Families gather to 'Axe Out' NF2 and find a cure

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- When seven-year-old AJ was diagnosed with NF2, his mom vowed to find a cure.

Since then, she started a 100% volunteer non-profit, NF2 Biosolutions.

The purpose of the non-profit is to fund research for patients, like her son, around the world.

Action News was there as hundreds gathered in West Chester to "Axe Out" NF2 and other rare diseases.
