Firefighters rescue woman from burning apartment in Montgomery County

CHELTENHAM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters rescued a woman from an apartment fire in Montgomery County early Tuesday morning.

Crews responded around 2:15 a.m. to the 1600 block of Church Road in the Wyncote section of Cheltenham Township.

The fire was coming from a unit in an upper floor of the building.

There is no word on the woman's condition.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
