Heavy police presence for incident at townhouse community in Newark, Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- New Castle County police say they are investigating an incident in Newark, Delaware.

It's happening in the 200 block of White Plains Court, in the Concord Trace Townhouse community.

Chopper 6 was over the scene around noon Thursday.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area until the investigation is complete.

It is not yet clear why officers responded to the area.
