Teen shot in the leg in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after a teen boy was shot in the leg on Friday night.

It happened around 5:40 p.m. along the 5700 block of Ardleigh Street in the city's Germantown section.

Police say the victim was taken to an area hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.

There was no word on what sparked the shooting or whether any arrests were made.
