VIDEO: Kurt Busch's ex-girlfriend breaks silence

The ex-girlfriend of NASCAR driver Kurt Busch has broken her silence months after she says Busch assaulted her at his motor home in Dover.

In an exclusive interview with ABC News, Patricia Driscoll claims she came to Busch's home after he texted her.

She says her son was out of the room when Busch attacked her out of nowhere.

"He popped up out of bed and grabbed me by the throat with one hand and with the other hand he grabbed my face and he smashed my head into the wall three times," she said.

Busch denies the allegations.

He's testified Driscoll told him she was a trained assassin, a claim Driscoll denies.

Busch is set to race in this weekend's Daytona 500.

NASCAR says it's waiting on the Delaware attorney general's complete investigation before it makes a ruling.
