Lehigh County Coroner confirms snow removal deaths

LEHIGH COUNTY, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Lehigh County Coroner has confirmed there were 6 deaths in the county related to snow removal during this Winter season.

Previously we had only known of three.

The deaths were caused by shoveling and other strenuous winter cleanup efforts following the major winter storms.

The coroner said the tragic incidents are an important lesson of the dangers of snow removal for those with underlying health conditions.
