Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital celebrates May the 4th

Allentown, Pa. (WPVI) -- Beloved characters from the Star Wars universe descended upon Jefferson Health's Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital in Allentown on Monday.

Dozens of costumed volunteers spent "May the 4th" with pediatric patients and their families.

Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Stormtroopers were among the fan favorites.

Starlight Children's Foundation donated special t-shirts and backpacks for the patients.

The characters also visited patients and colleagues at Lehigh Valley Hospital's Cedar Crest and Muhlenberg campuses.
