LOWER MERION TWp., Pa. (WPVI) -- Lower Merion Township is temporarily suspending the gas-powered leaf blower ban after severe storms moved through the region over the weekend.

The National Weather Service said at least four of the microbursts brought straight-line wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph (97 to 113 kph) to Montgomery and Philadelphia counties between about 2:30 and 3:15 p.m. Saturday. Despite speculation that the damage.
