Man beaten, shot and robbed in Logan

LOGAN -- Police say a 44-year-old man was beaten, shot and robbed in Philadelphia's Logan section early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred just past 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Ogontz and Olney Avenues.

The victim was shot in his side and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspect took off with $100 after shooting the victim, police say.

So far, there have been no arrests or a description of the shooter.
