Man in critical condition after shooting in the Crescentville section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in the Crescentville section of Philadelphia.

The gunfire was reported just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 4000 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.

Officers arrived to find a 37-yera-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest and neck.

Video from Chopper 6 showed police activity around a car with front-end damage.

Police say someone is in custody in connection with the incident.

The circumstances around this shooting remain under investigation.
