Man dead, another critical following shooting in Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is dead, and another is fighting for his life after a shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.

Police say they were called to the 700 block of Kingston Street around 11:50 p.m. Saturday for reports of gunfire.

That's where officers found the two victims.

Both were taken to the hospital.

Authorities say one of the men, who was shot in the head, later died.

The other man, who was shot in the back, is in critical condition.

There is no word on what led up to the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
