Man dies after being shot in the head in Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADLEPHIA (WPVI) -- Detectives are trying to determine the motive for a murder in Southwest Philadelphia.

The victim was a 23-year-old man.

He was shot once in the head Wednesday afternoon inside a bedroom of a home on the 1100 block of South Peach Street.

A man has been detained, but not named or charged.
