Man seriously injured after being hit by a car in East Norriton Twp.

EAST NORRITON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A 31-year-old man from Philadelphia suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a car in East Norriton Township.

It happened at the intersection of East Germantown Pike and Arch Road just before 8 a.m. Friday.

The victim was flown to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Investigators say the victim was crossing East Germantown Pike when he was hit.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
