Man injured after jumping from 2nd floor during house fire in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man jumped from a second-story bedroom to escape a fast-moving fire inside a row home in West Philadelphia.

Flames broke out around 1 a.m. Monday on the unit block of North 51st Street.

Medics transported the 59-year-old victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with smoke inhalation.

He's listed in stable condition.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
