Man shot in leg in Cobbs Creek

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning in Cobbs Creek.

It happened in the 800 block of South 55th street just before 2a.m.

Police arrived to find a man shot in the leg. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he is stable.

Officers are searching for a black vehicle seen leaving the scene of the shooting.
