Man violently assaulted outside McDonald's in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry neighborhood

PHILADLEPHIA (WPVI) -- New video captured a violent assault outside of a McDonald's in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry neighborhood.

Police say this happened about two weeks ago in the early morning hours on the 2900 block of Grays Ferry Avenue.

Surveillance video captured two people hit the victim, knocking him to the ground until a bystander intervened.

Authorities say the victim confronted the suspects and was attacked again.

They say the two later walked away with the victim's food.
