Montco teacher honored as Best Teacher of the Year

ORELAND, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Montgomery County teacher is being recognized as Philadelphia Magazine's Best Teacher of the Year.

Ryan Berger received his award Wednesday afternoon.

He's a kindergarten teacher at Enfield Elementary in Oreland.

He was nominated for going above and beyond his job description by introducing new technology to his students.

Berger received a $5,000gift for his school, along with a book donation, courtesy of Subaru America.
