Motorcyclist dies after crashing into tree in a parking lot in Newark, Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a tree in a parking lot in Newark, Delaware.

It happened in the 400 block of Commerce Drive around 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Police say a 39-year-old man riding the motorcycle was rushed to Christiana Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Delaware State Police are investigating.
