Nature's Vin a Natural wine bar in Wayne celebrates women makers

WAYNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- At Nature's Vin in Wayne, you can start your wine journey in the tasting room, drinking wine from around the globe, served by the half or full glass and by the flight.

There are sweet and savory snacks along with charcuterie boards to nibble on while you sip.

And if you taste something you like, you can buy it in the neighboring shop.

Nature's Vin is the creation of Ragini Parmar, a veteran of the tech industry who spent more than 2 decades building teams.

With Nature's Vin, she's putting those skills to use, creating a space that celebrates women.

All of the wines are by women winemakers. The provisions in the shop are from women-led companies. There are wine books by female authors.

Even the construction company, Parmar hired to build out the space was women-owned.

The pendant lighting, by South Philadelphia-based and women-owned REMARK glass, is made from recycled glass, and so is the bar countertop. The artwork on the wall, for sale, is by a local woman artist.

There's a communal table for meetings, private tastings and classes-from wine and cheese pairings to an open Mahjong group meet-up to a wreath-making class.

For the holidays you can give the gift of an experience, like a 90-minute sommelier-led tasting.

You can buy a bottle or build a gift box filled with items from the shop.

Opt for a gift card and the recipient can choose their own wine adventure.
