New Castle County Police ask for help identifying burglary suspect

CLAYMONT, Delaware (WPVI) -- Police in New Castle County are asking for the public's help to identify a man accused of trying to break into several homes in Claymont, Delaware.

Investigators state he tried to get into multiple homes in the Darley Green community by prying open rear doors and windows on Friday morning.

Officers say he repeatedly rang doorbells before trying to enter the homes and eventually accessed the second-floor deck of one home.

The man was caught on one resident's surveillance camera.
