New drone tech leads Ocean Township police to missing juvenile in wooded area

WARETOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- New drone technology helped the Ocean Township Police Department rescue a missing juvenile.

Officers received reports of the missing person last Thursday.

They used Life360 technology, along with the department's new drone, to narrow the search area to a densely wooded section along Oyster Creek.

The department says that technology helped them rescue the juvenile from what could have turned into a life-threatening situation.
