New Jersey State Senator reads to students in celebration of school grant program

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A $2 million state grant will help launch three new community schools in New Jersey.

State Senator Shirley Turner made a visit to Cadwalader Elementary in Trenton on Wednesday.

She was honored for receive securing that grant.

She also read "The Little Engine that Could" to a group of Students.

The new facilities will soon be in Ewing, Hamilton and Trenton, doubling the number of schools in the area from three to six.
