NJ woman flips the script on telemarketers by singing Disney songs

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- From spam calls, to show tunes!

One New Jersey woman is flipping the script on telemarketers by turning what could be an annoying phone call into a magical moment.

Lara Bakhtiaran is a physician assistant student from Tinton Falls, New Jersey, who has won over the internet and telemarketers with her voice.

Whenever a spam caller rings her phone, she sings them Disney songs - and sings them really well!

One telemarketer, David, experienced this last Wednesday. He loved her voice so much, he actually called her back the very next day.

He says he did not call her back to sell her anything, but just to hear another song.

The interaction, posted on TikTok, has amassed many views and likes online.

"Some people are commenting, 'Drop your number, I want to call you! I want to hear your voice too," said Bakhtiaran.

She said she even hopes David calls back again soon!
