
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration will release its outlook for the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season Thursday.
Officials will discuss expected storm activity, the factors that could influence hurricane development, and steps families can take to stay prepared.
Speakers are scheduled to include NOAA Administrator Dr. Neil Jacobs, National Weather Service Director Ken Graham, and Rear Adm. Chad M. Cary, director of the NOAA Corps and assistant administrator for NOAA Marine and Aviation Operations.
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 through Nov. 30.
