ELKINS PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials say a person struck and killed by a SEPTA train in Elkins Park, Pa. on Friday morning.

It happened around 11:15 a.m. on SEPTA's Lansdale-Doylestown line near the Elkins Park station.

Investigators say the victim was initially pinned under the train.

The victim's identity has not been released.

It's unclear how the accident happened.

SEPTA says there was no stoppage of trains, but some delays remain as the investigation continues.
