Philadelphia students learn proper table manners during etiquette lesson

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Manners were on the menu for 8th graders in Tacony on Wednesday.

Keystone Academy Charter School held a dining etiquette luncheon.

From table setting, to picking the correct fork for each course, the kids learned skills designed to help them in professional settings later in life.

The lesson will be followed by a formal, catered luncheon for the kids to practice what they've learned.

This is all done in honor of Alma Diggs, a founding board member who served the school from its inception until her passing in February.
