VIDEO: Plane lands safely after bird strike

A photo just released shows a pilot's terrifying view of a bird strike.

Burlington International Airport officials say the United flight heading to Washington D.C., collided with a bird Thursday.

The strike heavily damaged the plane's windshield, but the pilot was able to return to the airport and land safely.

There were no passengers hurt.
