Man found shot to death in North Philadelphia park

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are searching for answers after a man was found shot to death in a North Philadelphia park.

Police say they responded to reports of a person with a gun on the 3200 block of North Howard Street around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, they found 26-year-old Jetson Cruz from Philadelphia inside the park, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made and no weapons have been recovered.

The incident remains under investigation.
