Police investigate home invasion, robbery in Torresdale

TORRESDALE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a home invasion and robbery in the Torresdale section.

The incident occurred just before 4:00 a.m. Tuesday on the 9200 block of Academy Road.

Two men broke into a house and made off with a TV, laptop and a rifle, police say.

There were no reports of any injuries.

According to police, this is the second theft reported at the same house within the past year.
