Police investigating after body found in Delaware River at Fox Point State Park in Edgemoor

EDGEMOOR, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a body was found in the Delaware River in Edgemoor, New Castle County, on Thursday.

Officials were called to Fox Point State Park just before 8 a.m.

The body was recovered from the river and taken to the medical examiner's office.

No other details have been released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing with Delaware State Police.
