PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Residents in Philadelphia's Fairmount section are on edge as police investigate a car break-in and vandalism.
It happened between midnight and 4 a.m. along the 2200 block of Park Towne Place on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Officials say a Honda was found early Thursday morning with its windows smashed and three tires stolen.
A neighbor, who did not want to be on camera, says the car belongs to a friend who is out of town.
He says a tow truck driver first alerted him to the scene before police were called.
Damage to the car is estimated at around $2,000.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
