Power restored in South Philadelphia after equipment issue, PECO says

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An equipment issue in South Philadelphia knocked out power Thursday morning, but it has since been restored, according to PECO.

It happened just after 4:30 a.m. at 4th and Jackson streets.

When crews arrived, they found wires on the ground and multiple homes without power.

Power should be restored for all customers, PECO says.
