Ritz Five theater reopens in Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Ritz Five movie theater in Philadelphia's Old City section has reopened, just in time for Labor Day weekend.

In a post on social media Friday, the theater said it is once again showing movies.

The theater at the corner of Walnut and Dock Streets was ordered last month to cease operations, until it could obtain an electrical permit and install a fire alarm system in the building.
