PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- One of the biggest entertainers in the LGBTQ+ community is kicking off a brand-new tour with a stop here in Philadelphia.
Action News got to chat with Bosco, who finished third on two seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, earning critical acclaim across the world.
"It's a narrative-based...I wouldn't say musical, because I'm not going to be singing, but there is going to be lip-syncing, dancing, burlesque, yada yada yada. It follows the narrative of my supervillain, alter ego, Miss Gender, and her plans to spread her gender agenda," said Bosco.
The show is called "The Marvelous Miss Gender."
The 33-city tour kicks off in July, with a Philadelphia show set for July 15.
Bosco, who is a trans woman, says she's been working on this concept for years and is excited to bring it to life.
She says the show celebrates the community while also spotlighting an important message about acceptance and inclusion.
"This is a fun tongue-in-cheek way to, like, talk about a lot of the things that are going on in the country, a lot of the laws that are happening, a lot of the public. Perception of trans people at this point. And I think the best way to attack a lot of these questions is to not get overly morose with it, but to have a bit of fun with it," said Bosco.
You can see Bosco live at The Filmore on July 15th.
