Search underway for missing 14-year-old swimmer in Wildwood

WILDWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Emergency crews in Wildwood, New Jersey, are searching for a missing 14-year-old swimmer on Monday afternoon.

The call came in around 1:35 p.m. for a swimmer reported missing in the area near East Cedar Avenue.

Chopper 6 was overhead as crews searched the water.

Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
