Sen. Chris Coons suffers minor injuries in Delaware crash, expected to make full recovery

LEWES, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware Senator Chris Coons is recovering after being involved in a car crash in Lewes, Sussex County, on Sunday.

His office released a statement saying a driver experienced a medical incident and collided with several cars, including one in which Coons was a passenger.

Coons was taken to Beebe Hospital for treatment and has since returned home.

According to his office, he is expected to make a full and swift recovery.
