NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police have arrested a man in connection with two recent robberies and an attempted robbery.
Authorities say Shawn McIlvain was behind armed robberies at two Market Place convenience stores in New Castle, one on May 31, the other on June 6.
Last weekend, employees at the first robbery location reported a suspicious person in the parking lot.
Authorities say that led them to McIlvain.
Police say he had a handgun and a ski mask in his possession when he was collared.
McIlvain is behind bars in lieu of $67,000 bail.
