Serious crash leaves driver in critical condition in Wynnefield

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a serious crash in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say a vehicle failed to make the off-ramp from I-76 westbound at Lincoln Drive and slammed into a concrete barrier.

The gray Honda Civic flipped onto its side.

Philadelphia firefighters extricated the driver, who is in critical condition.
